Privacy Policy

1. Data We Collect

• Account Data: Email address and (optional) display name that you provide during registration.
• Photos: The photos you upload in response to daily quests. These are stored in our cloud storage and are only visible to you.
• Usage Data: Streak counters, date of last quest completion, and similar statistics to ensure app functionality.
• Device Data (Push Notifications): An anonymous push token if you enable notifications. This token identifies your device, not you personally.

2. Purpose of Processing

• Providing and operating app features (daily quests, streaks)
• Sending local and server-side push notifications
• Error diagnosis and app improvement

The legal basis is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract) and your consent for optional services (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR).

3. Service Providers / Processors

We use Supabase, Inc. (USA) as a backend service for database and file storage. Transfers to the USA are based on EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: supabase.com/privacy.

Push notifications are routed via the service Expo (Expo Technology, Inc., USA) and on the platform side via Apple APNs or Google FCM.

4. Storage Duration

Your data is stored as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data including uploaded photos will be irrevocably deleted within 30 days.

5. Your Rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

• Right of access to stored data (Art. 15)
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
• Right to erasure of your data (Art. 17) – use the "Delete account" feature in the app for this
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
• Right to data portability (Art. 20)
• Right to object to processing (Art. 21)
• Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77)

6. No Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your data. Disclosure is made exclusively to the processors mentioned in section 3, who are contractually bound to confidentiality.

7. Minors

The app is not aimed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age.

8. Changes to this Policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy. The current version is always available at this URL. We will inform you in the app about material changes.
